In Spanish 1, students explore the basics of the language and parts of Spanish and Latino culture. Topics include basic conversations, family, school. food, clothes and others.
This class consists of reading, writing, speaking and listening at a beginning level of Spanish. The course contains 10 topics, each designed to take 3 weeks to complete.

- Basic sentence structure and grammar
- Present tense verb usage
- Introductory conversation skills
